This is the foundation of your roof. Decking is the plywood that supports your entire roofing system. It is very important that during your roof replacement all decking is inspected for damaged areas and replaced as needed.

The underlayment is a very important part of your roofing system, it acts as a water resistant protectant over your ply wood to make sure no water gets into your home (It is very imports that synthetic underlayment is used)

Drip Edge

Drip edge is a metal lip that goes around the perimeter of your home. This protects water from protruding under your shingles and damaging your fascia (This became a part of Texas code in 2012)
